The farm was established as a homestead in 1907. Over the decades the farm primarily operated as an orchard and peaked as a 60 cow dairy farm. In time, the family of the current owner acquired the property in 1978. Because of Settler’s Creek history, the homestead was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.
