White Barn Ranch is a family owned and operated 90 acre cattle ranch set in the scenic granite rock formations of the Coeur d’ Alene mountain range. The Idaho venue is 10 minutes south of Sandpoint and 35 minutes north of Coeur d’Alene. The farm raises grass-fed Scottish Highlander and Wagyu cows as well as Berkshire pigs.

A range of wedding packages are available. You can choose to elope here, rent the venue for a single day or choose the most popular package and stay at the ranch from Friday to Sunday.

Details of the Grounds

White Barn Ranch is a full time ranch that is available for events throughout the year. Rental times vary but the typical weekend package starts at 2pm on Friday and goes until noon on Sunday.

The barn has a capacity of 125 and can be used for the reception, a backup plan for rain or the primary ceremony and wedding space in the colder parts of the year. If you plan to stay the weekend, make sure to take some time to gaze at the stars.

Special Space Features

White Barn The primary structure used for weddings is a rustic 70 year old tamarack framed barn with thick slab pine tables that were milled on site. Add some string lights and you have one fine place to gather or have dinner.

2-ROOM BRIDAL SUITE Brides have access to a 2-room bridal suite with a wood stove, full bathroom, and a large covered patio with a dining table. The white walls and western decor make for unique photos in excellent light.

Bison Lodge For couples who choose to use White Barn Ranch for the weekend, the Bison Lodge is where they will stay. The lodge is surrounded by stately conifers and big views of cattle on pasture with Huckleberry Mountain to the south. You might even catch the resident bald eagles flying around. Enjoy the evening with a fire pit and late night star gazing.

On the day of the wedding, the Bison Lodge is where the guys can get ready for the day’s events. Outside of the cabin is a 64’ long patio. The patio is a great place for gathering and entertaining.

Photography Opportunities

Photo opportunities abound at White Barn Ranch. You can expect the typical farm photo favorites with rustic textures on the barn and farm structures. Or pose near the long fence lines, vintage vehicles or farm equipment. You can even get some great photos with the animals nearby. Another fun shot here is the couple making their grand entrance by having each person come out of two side by side barn doors.

In addition to the usual farm photos, the expansive natural views here are an incredible wedding backdrop. To the west is a large granite hill and in the other directions are views over wetlands, to wooded areas and views out to the Coeur d’Alene mountain range. The natural backdrop here will look spectacular in your wedding day photos no matter the photo direction.
