Cider Mountain, a stunning north Idaho venue is nestled in a mature pine tree forest with 160 acres of rolling hills. With lodging and a multiday rental period, Cider Mountain is clearly all about the joys of togetherness in a resort style setting. The lodge and natural Idaho landscape is a perfect backdrop for photographing your amazing wedding experience.
The Cider Mountain Lodge and Wedding Venue is 25 miles north of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and 15 minutes west of Farragut State Park. Should you have more than 40 guests who want to come along on your multiday wedding event, Farragut State Park is an excellent place to stay.
Check in is on a Thursday afternoon and the place is yours through early Sunday afternoon. There are no rushes to set up, tear down – just quality time for you and those closest to you for one of your life’s most significant events.
Photography Opportunities
At Cider Mountain, the native north Idaho woods paired with the various indoor/ outdoor spaces are richly on display for beautiful wedding pictures. When outside, you will see many special gathering areas adorned in romantic lights to take on a magical character throughout your weekend event. The interiors are naturally well lit by the many windows available to produce lovely soft natural images.

At Cider Mountain there are numerous spaces inside and outside of the lodge. Here are some of the indoor highlights of this venue.
The Bridal Suite
The Bridal Suite is a spacious, rustic, luxurious space for getting ready and staying overnight. On ceremony day, this room provides ample room for the bridal party with a lavish full bathroom. The room also has two lounge areas, a king sized bed, TV, kitchenette and a warm and relaxing gas fireplace. Getting ready photos will be perfect.
The Groom’s Lounge
The guys were not left out here. In the grooms lounge there is plenty of space to get ready in style, which is perfect for those often dismissed groom prep photos. There are comfortable seats, a tv, sound system and even a full length mirror. Just across the hall from the groom’s lounge is a billiards room.
Guest Suites
Inside the lodge there are three guest suites plus the bridal suite. Each room has its own configuration.
Theatre and Game Room
That’s right, you’ll have your own private theater and arcade. This is a great place for gathering or entertaining the kids.
Commercial Kitchen
A full commercial kitchen is available on site for your use or for your caterer of choice. Some kitchen highlights include place settings for 100, both a huge freezer and refrigerator and my personal favorite, a dishwasher that washes the dishes in 60 seconds!!
Living Room Lounge, Breakfast & Coffee Bar, and Dining Area
The core gathering place of this venue speaks to the overarching goal of togetherness. These connected areas provide ample seating for food, conversation and laughter. You may even choose to use this area for the rehearsal dinner or opening gifts the day after your wedding.

Dance Floor and Stage
Surrounded by picture perfect romantic lighting, the outdoor dance floor and stage are equipped with a sound system. Use the sound system yourself or have it ready to go for your DJ.
Multiple Locations for Ceremony & Reception
You can choose where you’d like to have the ceremony set up or get some recommendations from the venue coordinator. The venue coordinator is a great resource for the best locations based on time of day and season. For the ceremony focal point, you have 5 arbors to choose from and decorate as you like.
Wood-Burning Fireplace and Lighted Patio
What is a north Idaho retreat wedding without a fire? This picturesque gathering area is perfect for warming up or staying up way too late into night for those deep conversations.
Cabins and RV’s
Aside from the lodge accommodations, there are three additional cabins for your family or friends. The cabins are not far from the lodge but still maintain privacy. Cider Mountain also has room for up to 5 RV’s with two RV hookups.
