Firebrand Cocolalla is a stunning venue set in a private woodland clearing. This forest venue is only 45 minutes north of Coeur d’Alene and 20 minutes south of Sandpoint, Idaho. Either way, it is a convenient escape from town. Meanwhile, Firebrand Cocolalla is also moments west of Cocolalla Lake. The 20 acre property features natural forest charm and a ridge that opens up to the surrounding views. The trees and views are a picturesque backdrop for wedding photos to cherish for a lifetime.
In 2019 the owners got engaged and purchased the property to develop. Their first wedding on site was their own in the fall of 2021. 2022 was a success story as the venue hosted its first year of weddings. Rolling in to 2023, Firebrand Cocolalla has quickly gained popularity as their second year is booking up quickly.
Details of the Grounds
Firebrand Cocolalla can accommodate weddings for 200 guests and up to 250 if you provide the remaining chairs and tables. This north Idaho wedding venue currently hosts outdoor weddings only from the end of May through September. In case of rain, guest’s tables are equipped with large umbrellas. However, most weddings are limited to the less wet months of the year. Couples are welcome to bring any additional tent structures for cover if desired.
In addition to the venue’s gorgeous setting, the owners are professional, helpful, and communicative. With 8+ years of teaching and in the event industry, they help take the stress out of your day. One way the owners help reduce stress is by having things set up for you when you arrive. Then they also tear everything down after your wedding.

Wedding Details
Firebrand Cocolalla offers two simple wedding packages. The first wedding package is for the primary and larger wedding space. This space is available for weekend weddings from 10am-10pm. The second wedding package is available throughout the week as host to the increasingly popular micro weddings. The micro wedding space is on the properties ridge with surrounding views.
The main event space includes power for getting ready, lighting and sound systems. Similarly, the tents are also equipped with power for the bridal party to get ready on site. Special furniture, seating, tables and linens are provided for up to 200 guests.
This enchanting, unique wedding venue is suitable for: micro weddings or full weddings. As a Firebrand Cocolalla couple, you are welcome to use the property for a scheduled time to take engagement pictures. Rehearsals are scheduled for 2 hours on a Thursday or Friday before your wedding. On wedding day, get ready, host the ceremony, and celebrate at your reception without having to move to other venues.
