High Country Orchard is a family owned farm in the charming Greenbluff agritourism district near Spokane, Washington. Weddings are only one facet of this unique high energy venue. The property has 20 acres of orchards, a café, farm gift shop and the perfect setup for weddings and events! Wedding day rentals are available on Saturdays only from May to October from 9am-9pm. In the barnyard, kids will find a petting zoo which is sure to entertain younger guests (with adult supervision).
Flanked by cherry trees, the venue overlooks the gently rolling hay fields to the south that will make your wedding pictures phenomenal. The wedding barn is tucked away from the main business areas to offer some privacy from the hustle and bustle but close enough for easy ADA access.
High Country Orchard has so much to offer in the way of unique venue resources such as a local Greenbluff catering company, Greenbluff brewed beer, and their own private wine label. You will likely find that High Country Orchard is your venue for the food, the scenery or the contemporary barn interior.
Details of the Grounds
High Country Orchard offers two primary spaces on their property for you to host your wedding. You could choose to use one or both the main barn or the south lawn. But you are welcome to host your wedding elsewhere on the property as well. The venue is the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. High Country Orchards is able to accommodate weddings or events with up to 200 guests.
OUTDOOR SPACES
Many ceremonies at High Country Orchard are set in the wide open yard outside the barn. Some weddings choose to utilize the covered barn awning to maintain an outside wedding without the potential of getting wet. Any way you choose, the views overlooking the orchards and hay fields are quite special. The views are relaxing and peaceful as they gently rise and drop throughout the landscape.
As a focal point for exchange vows, the venue offers various arbors for you to add a personal touch. Being outside is a special space with the rows of fruit trees behind you or the twinkling barn lights on the big red barn. The outdoors here make a romantic setting for your first dance as a married couple.
INDOORS
The barn is a beautiful place whether you use it for one part of your wedding day or for the entire day. Forget dark moody spaces here. There are plenty of perks that come with a High Country Orchard wedding. Their personal event coordinator will help you make sure your wedding flows smoothly. If inclement weather arise, the staff will help you quickly change gears to their covered spaces. Before the wedding, staff will be there for a complete setup. After the wedding, the staff will be there for clean-up.
