In fact, the fall color is absolutely spectacular, rivaling ‘Boston in the fall’. Winter isn’t off the table either. But we will need to work carefully to get a session during or right after a light snowfall.

Most couples reserve their session right after their proposal to twelve weeks out. However, if you have your heart set on a specific season, I’d recommend booking up to twelve months in advance. That way, we can lock in your favorite time of year.

Choose a Location That Feels Like You

• City and Riverfront: Spokane’s Riverfront Park, Huntington Park, the downtown bridges and rooftops offer that iconic urban PNW mix of water, walkways, and skyline views.
• Gardens and Arboretums: Manito Park, lavender fields in June/ July, flower farms in late summer to early fall and Finch Arboretum in the fall bring lush, manicured beauty and incredible color.
• Wide Open Spaces: The West Plains around Cheney and Medical Lake, along with spots out toward Mead, Deer Park, and Liberty Lake, offer grassy hills, rustic fence lines, and that classic countryside feel.
• Lakes and Water: Head out to Gonzaga’s Lake Arthur or along the Spokane River for shoreline views and that PNW lake-life vibe.
• Local-ish Destinations: For some dramatic locations within 2 hours of Spokane, I can take you to Mt Spokane, Priest Lake, Lake CDA, or a spectacular landscape along Lake Roosevelt including a waterfall!

From there, we work our way from playful to romantic as you both settle in and relax. That’s usually when the magic really starts to happen.
