Pullman Parks and Trails
With parks as small as 3 acres and up to 25 acres, Pullman has an excellent collection of city parks. The parks include picnic and restroom facilities but sometimes they have a special attraction for you to enjoy.
Sunnyside Park – 18 hole disc golf, two ponds and a nearby farm to say hi to the animals.
Reaney Park– Paved trails connect the city playfields and skatepark to downtown, passing near Reaney park and following the Palouse river. Keep exploring past the playfields and you will find a community garden and eventually get to the point where Paradise creek meets the South Fork of the Palouse River.
Reaney Park Pool – located in Raeney Park, this is an outdoor city pool open in the summer.
Bill Chapman Palouse Trail – This flat and easy paved trail leads 7.5 miles each way from Pullman to Moscow. Try this trail for walking, biking or skating.

WSU Arboretum – A 1.9 mile perimeter trail is located across the road from the WSU bear facilities in this up and coming WSU attraction.
Magpie Forest Trail is located at the corner of Merman drive and Westwood drive. This wandering 0.9 miles trail takes you through a natural area with trees and excellent sunset views.

Camping, Parks and Trails Near Pullman
Wawawaii County Park trail – A favorite for a quick getaway that feels far away. Wawawaii County park is great for camping, fishing, picnics, and a short scenic hike in the Snake River canyon.
Kamiak Butte County Park– Missing trees? Head over to Kamiak butte for camping and hiking in the woods to beautiful vistas overlooking the Palouse. There is a 2.4 and 4 mile loop trail which both include the high point of Kamiak Butte.
Klemguard County Park is a peaceful park with excellent play structures, shade, picnic tables and a short 1.1 mile trail.
Hells Gate State Park – Explore the Snake River Canyon with 4 trails to choose from ranging from 2.4-6.2 miles and a variety of camping including tent, RV, and cabin sites.
Take a scenic drive along the snake river from Pullman to Wawawaii County park and along the Snake river to Lewiston. You will find places for camping, swimming, fishing, and even cliff jumping!
