Hi guys, formal dance season is here, and I can’t wait to be your homecoming or prom photographer this year!

Honestly, dancing wasn’t really my thing until after high school. But I loved the excuse formal dances gave me to get fancy and go out with friends, or take someone special on a fun date. Homecoming and prom are the biggest dances of the year, and the version of you that shows up for it — dressed up, nervous, excited, surrounded by your best friends — is worth capturing properly.

Why hire a photographer instead of just using the school’s dance photographer?

Most schools offer a photographer at the dance itself, and there’s nothing wrong with grabbing a quick shot in that line. But it’s worth knowing what you’re actually getting when you do:

• You get one setup, one backdrop, one look. School dance photographers are working through a long line of students in a hallway or gym corner. You get a few seconds in front of a generic backdrop, not a real photo session.
• There’s no time for your group. Your friend group, your couple portraits, your solo shots — the school photographer isn’t set up to capture all of that. You’ll get one image, maybe two, and that’s it.
• The lighting is whatever the venue gives you. Gym lighting and hallway fluorescents aren’t designed to make anyone look their best. A dedicated session lets us chase the good light — golden hour, open shade, a pretty backdrop — instead of settling for whatever’s available at the door.
• You only get to do this once. Homecoming photos aren’t something you can retake next week. Hiring a photographer means you actually get a full gallery of images from the night, not a single rushed frame.

Booking your own session means you choose the location, the time, and who’s in the photos. You get real coverage of your group, your date, and the details you spent all that time getting ready for — not just a quick grab-and-go shot.

How much does a Homecoming or Prom Photographer cost in Spokane?

My session fees include the time and talent of your photographer, plus full-resolution edited digital images delivered in an online gallery. That gallery is where you’ll download your images and can order prints. The session fee covers digital files only — prints are available separately if you’d like them.

• 1 couple: 15–20 minutes, 10 edited digital images, $400. 
• Additional couples: $50 per additional couple ($25 per/ per, plus 8 additional edited digital images.
