Outdoor engagement pictures are a fun experience that result in the best portraits possible. And this UI Arboretum engagement session was both beautiful and oh so much fun!
Before their session, all of the engaged guys I have photographed over the last 7+ years have had a common comment. That comment is, “I’m not comfortable in front of the camera or looking forward to this.” Just so you know, I’m not that thrilled about having my pictures taken either. However, that worry quickly disappears in every session as we simply celebrate the two of you with laughing, loving and getting some amazing photos out of it. At the end of the session it is almost always the guy who is first to say they actually had a lot fun and this was way better than expected! I love hearing this change of perspective 🙂
After you have finished your outdoor engagement session be sure to go out on a date! Moscow has some great eateries. Try out Sangria’s for a Peruvian flavor adventure in a great atmosphere or Maialina for an unique upscale pizza. If you want to take a stroll down main street or find a bench near the fountain to people watch, the simple goodness of Moscow Bagel and Deli can’t be beat.

Outdoor engagement sessions are one of my most favorite photo genres. It’s so easy to photograph the love, joy, and excitement of being engaged. These photos make great forever memories of the start of your love story. I love being a natural light wedding and portrait photographer. In engagement sessions, the natural light and scenes infuse your images with a beautiful layer of drama that studio images simply cannot replicate.
