You don’t have to go far for great senior pictures, try a local destination senior session in Cheney, Washington!
For this Cheney High School senior, we didn’t have to go far to take advantage of incredible scenery and have a great time. Over this last summer Ian had the privledge of being a part of an elite touring group of marching bands. Drum Corps International is the groups name. Drum Corp International plays at shows and competitions throughout the United States. Ian shared of at least a half dozen states he performed at this summer! As a former marching band guy up through college, I was super excited to work with Ian. Ian plays various instruments including saxophone in his school bands. He was looking to get a mix of photos in his concert wear and comfortable attire.
We started the session out at Eastern Washington University to get that formal look. After that, we chased the sun down out at Turnbull Animal Refuge. You’ve gotta love that low sun and country road look!

Here in early September, you’ll find golden grasses set in rocky outcroppings with beautiful sunlight!

If you are with your senior at a session you can count on me asking if you’d like to jump in for a picture. Ian’s mom quickly jumped on the opportunity. She was so happy I asked. You can see how proud and happy she is of her son 🙂 Way to go Ian and way to go family!
